CASE your Fellow AECP Crafter Blog Hop!!
===== English translations are in dark blue =====
Allons-y!!
Hello everyone!!
We are about 30 crafters, from the Altenew's family, participating in this Blog Hop!! What's a Blog Hop ? It's a social event, online, organized by bloggers sharing post revolving around the same theme, idea or concept. Each participant has a link, in their post, to the next participant so it's easy to follow all the posts. Today, we are making a CASE (it means "Copy And Share Everything"). As far as I know, it's the same thing as scraplifting!!
For my part, I chose a card from the talented Terri Koszler!! Living in the UK, she has finished the Altenew Educator Certification Program. She is therefore a certified educator!! I encourage all of you to have a look at her creations (by clicking here).
I've chose to CASE two of her cards she made on a passed Blog Hop, the one they prepared for the release of the Altenew's "Fresh Start" collection. Both cards are showed at the end of her post that you can read by clicking here!! So, here we go!!
Carte #1
I've loved the cover die she used for her cards and the way she inlaid some black squares to create a pattern on the left. So, I used that technique as well with a similar cover die with black and white papers. I own the same stamps set as the one she used so I used it as well and I recreated, for the most part, the placement of the elements on this card. Obviously, I used a french sentiment (I fussy cut the shadow because this die doesn't have a matching shadow die). I've added some foam tape under the flowers too to add a bit of dimension and some enamel dots because it's my favorite product to add shine and interest right now; I put them on every card!! However, I prefered to use the color violet for the flowers as it's my favorite color too and that I really like to mix violet, black & white together!! Isn't it gorgeous!! What do you think ?

Carte #2
For the second card, I didn't reproduce the placement because I make a landscape card. I still kept the black & white predominance, diagonal squares and the pink flower. For the rest, I played with placement until I found one I liked. I love the white lignes in the background. Do you like them ?
